Često činidba učini sreću!
Leteći ćilim i stolčić,
čokančić i parče ćudoređa
Džabe, znam:
ćuk noću banči!
U ptičjoj kući - džumbus!
Džinovi đuskaju s đurđicama u džepovima i anđelima na leđima,
a šaljivdžije i đavolice časno ispijaju
čajeve pod čempresima.
Prođimo, ćaskajmo,
časkom raščinimo ono začahureno pod našim vjeđama.
Dođi: započnimo!
Začurlićimo sve u 14!

Often doing creates happiness!
A flying carpet and a small chair,
a small pitcher and a piece of weird moral
To gain nothing, I know:
A small owl parties at night!
In the bird-house – a mess!
The ghosts are dancing with lillies in their pockets and angels piggybacking,
jokers and devils are honourably drinking
teas under the cypress trees.
Let us walk, let us chat,
in a moment's time let us clear out the cocoons under our lids.
Come: let us begin!
Let us howl at once!
