The reality they brought to my attention
The images of betrayal stuck in my mind
A dagger in my chest would hurt much less

Poisoning my thoughts
Shredding the confidence I fought so hard to find.

Did it feel as good as she looked?
Was it worth the void you put between us?
No matter how you try to fill it up
