The album title and band name already indicate that it is juvenile curiosity, the pleasure to discover, and a great desire for liberty and self-assertion that urge the artist. To free yourself from standards, prejudices and daily grind as well as the longing for freedom in a hectic and discontented society. Humility and a sense for aesthetics in simplicity are not just subjects of his tales but are also integrated in the arrangements. Whereas the most important anchor points are nature in its distinctive beauty on the one hand and people who made a major impact on this young man’s life on the other, both getting their dedication in songs about his Bavarian homeland. Perhaps in the end, only those might be free who know their roots and are always able to look back on them in relief.
