Quarks by Zen Wires

Quarks come in pairs. They are the smallest particles in the universe. Each of these tracks is made using only two modules for voicing. All sounds are then processed and played off one another to create something bigger than the two voices alone.

These are generative patches that play by themselves using the parameters of the various modules. I had control over the volume of each track, otherwise the synth was controlling every aspect of the sound.

Stacking a voice on top of itself and shifting them in the stereo field adds depth and variety. Processing each version of the voice with its own effects creates new sounds that are unified but unique.
