Ani by Y/N

The story in this album follows a young man as he slowly battles with exposure after being banished from his home within the medieval city of Ani. The hero sinks into increasing levels of solipsistic confusion as death nears and the immense cruelty of nature seems to continue to be outlined and outdone only by the splendor of nature’s thoughtless bounty; this central contradiction grows to describe the format of every interaction both remembered and supposed in the boy’s mind until thought completely fades into the void.

Written at my mom's house the few days after I got out of the hospital at the end of 2021.
