Mommy Planet by Margaret Driscal
Mommy Planet is a collection of songs that narrate a distant-future's end-of-times.
Taking place in the year 4000, these songs narrate a post-climate-change-induced apocalyptic wasteland and explores themes of late capitalism, loneliness, desperation and technology.
Some songs are sung by robots, some by humans and some by Mommy Planet herself, kind of as if they're passing a guitar around a campfire and taking turns playing songs.
