Transmission One by The Public Service Library Committee Office

Trevor Pearson-Wright is a full time hauntologist from the South-East of England. Drawing on memories of a nuclear threatened childhood and pulling wistful cues from a collection of British heritage stamps and worn VHS copies of public information bulletins, he forges a woozy juxtaposition of wistful British melancholia and dusty percussive resolve.

'Transmission One' is the result of months of hunkering down among frayed breadboards, cassette walkmans and analogue synths, drawing influence from the brutalist constructions of yesteryear and the fantastical monoliths of tomorrow, today.

It's a haunting tour-de-force and a crowning achievement in backwards-facing regressionism, coalescing into a strangely familiar but mildly unsettling retrofuturist time capsule.
