The adventure began in Summer 2012, where fellow Italian composer KK Slider met the Dutch musician Blárafn. The synergy between the two evolved in the ambitious project and collaborative effort named Valhaz, after an ancient Germanic word meaning "unknown". Their distinctive musical style fuses the neat sonority of Funeral Doom Metal with the new strains of Post-Rock and Ambient.
